Web-to-print self-adhesive labels and short-run packaging specialist Stickershop has taken on a third Titanium cutter to enhance its efficiency and capabilities.

Supplied by International Graphic Supplies (IGS), the new Titanium 0806 fully automatic flatbed cutter was installed at the Bristol-based company in August, joining an existing Titanium 2516 flatbed cutter and Titanium 330-R reel-to-reel label cutter.

The Titanium 0806 is a B2 cutter that fully automates the finishing process from sheet feeding to stacking. Its unmanned operation means it is suitable for streamlining short-run, on-demand jobs and prototypes.

A key new feature is the reel-to-cut sheet option, which allows Stickershop to efficiently produce variable labels directly from a reel, cutting them into pre-sized sheets for finishing; reducing manual labour and speeding up its turnaround times.

Additionally, the newly installed JWPS software provides a large library of customisable box and packaging designs, enabling quick creation of custom sizes and 3D previews, which IGS said streamlines the design process and ensures precision cutting with the Titanium 0806.

Shane Pritchard, director at Stickershop, said: “Our partnership with IGS has been instrumental in our growth. The complete solution has been a transformative addition to our production line.

“We are especially excited about the new levels of efficiency this will bring to our short-run work and variable label production, and we look forward to our continued collaboration with IGS.”

Peter Flynn, managing director at IGS, also commented: “We are incredibly proud to see our partners at The Stickershop evolve their capabilities with our technology.

“The three Titanium cutters – the 2516, the 330-R, and the new 0806 – each serve a unique but complementary purpose.

“By also implementing the JWPS software, we have provided a complete end-to-end solution.

“This enables them to tackle a wide range of jobs, from short-run packaging and displays to on-demand variable label sheets, all with unmatched speed and accuracy.

“This setup demonstrates our ability to provide scalable, tailored solutions that grow with our customers’ business needs.”
