Hybrid software updates its iC3D to version 11

Aimed at packaging designers, brand owners, and prepress professionals, iC3D v11 adds new capabilities that support a broader range of packaging types, including custom stand-up pouches, sachets, and pillow bags. The updated layout tools enable more accurate and efficient creation of print-ready artwork, which is expected to help reduce manual setup time and increase layout precision.

One of the key additions in this release is the Capture 3D Analyzer, said Hybrid. This tool evaluates the repeatability of shrink sleeve and metal can production by comparing multiple 3D models and highlighting inconsistencies through a colour-coded heat map. The feature aims to support quality control efforts and aid production decision-making.

Version 11 of iC3D also introduces compatibility with the Adobe Illustrator 2026 plugin, allowing for smoother integration with existing creative workflows. Combined with the software's real-time 3D rendering capabilities, this update is intended to help teams move from concept to production more efficiently.

"Our goal with iC3D version 11 was to remove friction from the packaging design process," said Heath Luetkens, sales director of Americas at Hybrid BrandZ. "By combining fast, accurate 3D visualisation with precise layout tools, we're helping brands eliminate delays and reduce costs."

The company's iC3D is used by brands in industries such as food, beauty, and retail. It is part of Hybrid Software's broader suite of packaging solutions, which includes Artflow, a cloud-based platform for artwork approval. Together, these tools aim to support a more streamlined and consistent packaging development process.
