New Servo-Driven Filler-Capper Monoblock Ensures Precision
SHEMESH AUTOMATION
Monobloc systems efficiently use floor space and minimize transfer points between operations that could cause downtime or slower line speeds.
So the monobloc design of the new Alantra P+ filler-capper from Shemesh Automation contributes to the system's high output of 40 to 50 packages per minute, depending on the model and product.
Advanced features deliver uptime benefits
The automated system is compatible with Industry 4.0 connectivity, giving users the added value of live machine monitoring and remote diagnostics from the manufacturer, if needed. Also supporting maximum uptime is the tool-less changeover that takes less than 15 minutes.
The Alantra P+ leverages servo technology for both filling and capping. On the filling side, companies can select a servo piston filler or a gear pump, or even other options if neither of these work for your product. On the capping side, servo drives "ensure precise torque control for a secure, leak-free seal every time," according to the company.
Flexibility in product format and cap type enable this system to accommodate various applications.
The filler handles various liquid viscosities, including lotions, creams, gels, topical ointments, sauces, syrups, lubricants, oils, beverages, and cleaners.
The capper handles pump caps, trigger caps, screw-on caps, and snap-on caps. For torque control, the Alantra P+ has an adjustable mechanical torque limiter or an optional individual servo for each cap. The system has an integrated cap sorter for screw-on caps and an external cap feeder for snap-on and pump caps.
Products can range from cosmetics and pharmaceuticals (like cough syrup) to chemicals and foods and beverages.
The built-in quality control includes a reject conveyor.
