Packsize Unveils High-Capacity Automated Packaging System
Packsize has launched the X6, an automated right-sized packaging system designed to enhance efficiency in warehouse operations. Touted as the market's highest-capacity box erecting machine, the X6 can produce up to 1,500 flat-bottom boxes per hour using corrugated Z-fold material.
Capable of manufacturing both flap boxes and corrugated trays, the X6 seamlessly integrates with leading delivery and shuttle systems. By enabling direct picking into right-sized shipping containers, the system eliminates the need for totes, improving ergonomics, conveyability, and workstation compatibility.
To support fully automated packaging processes, Packsize has equipped the X6 with optional box-closing and lidding modules.
Packsize chief revenue officer Brian Reinhart highlighted the machine's benefits: "The X6 demonstrates Packsize's continued commitment to providing greater labour and picking efficiency for faster and more accurate packaging of warehouse orders, accelerating speed and productivity in the supply chain. In addition to delivering an industry-leading throughput, the X6 produces a broad range of box sizes, including those small enough to fit through envelope slots."
