Print Image Inspection Rethought
Hamburg, Germany - EyeC GmbH, a global provider of automated artwork verification and print image inspection systems, will be presenting innovative solutions for automated print image inspection at Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona from 16 to 19 September 2025. Visitors to stand 5B11 will be able to experience the versatile portfolio for quality control at all stages of print production. A special focus will be on the latest developments in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as the new EyeC Proofiler Graphic.
At stand 5B11, EyeC will be presenting new AI-supported functions for the entire EyeC ProofRunner line. Thanks to intelligent AI-based defect classification based on image content, relevant defects can be detected, categorised, and filtered even more precisely, while at the same time increasing speed and reducing false positives. The new AI technology can be experienced live on the EyeC ProofRunner Web HighLight, installed on the 'ECOLINE RSH 340' from machine manufacturer ROTOCON. The high-performance system enables ultra-fast and precise 100% inline print inspection of labels and flexible packaging, even with web widths of up to 1,700 mm. EyeC will provide a practical demonstration of how the integration of artificial intelligence takes inline quality control to a new level.

The new Proofiler Graphic With the revised Proofiler Graphic, EyeC presents the latest version of its proven solution for prepress inspection. The independent system is SaaS-based and can proofread artwork by comparing print-ready files or step-and-repeat files with the approved artwork. Especially developed for the requirements of the graphic arts industry and packaging production, the system offers higher inspection speeds and significantly improved usability. When integrated into the Esko Automation Engine workflow or in combination with HYBRID software, the proofing process can even be fully automated. This makes the Proofiler Graphic ideal for demanding quality assurance processes in label and packaging production.
Entry-level systems rethought: The Proofiler 400 DT
The EyeC Proofiler 400 DT is a particular highlight. As part of the scanner-based Proofiler product line, the compact demo system is aimed specifically at small and medium-sized companies looking to get started with automated sample inspection without compromising on reliability and inspection quality. The system offers customers practical, budget-friendly access to professional print image inspection and specifically expands EyeC's product range to the entry-level segment.
