Xinjiang's Food Boom Drives Packaging Industry Growth
The soaring popularity of Xinjiang's local food products has fueled rapid expansion at Urumqi Bingxin Eco-Packaging Co., Ltd., located in the Economic and Technological Development Zone (Toutunhe District). The company now produces 400,000 packaging boxes daily, helping Xinjiang's food brands stand out with high-quality packaging.
Inside Bingxin's 13,000-square-meter workshop, raw material storage, adhesive preparation, bonding, and printing processes operate seamlessly, delivering finished packaging within minutes. The facility serves diverse sectors, including food, agricultural products, daily chemicals, new energy, and manufacturing.
Wang Yongfeng, Plant Manager of Urumqi Bingxin Eco-Packaging, noted that as a premium corrugated box producer, the company—Bingxin Packaging's 17th national production base since its 2014 launch—now partners with 120 businesses to strengthen supply chains. Advanced features include intelligent temperature control for automated quality checks, water-soluble eco-friendly inks, and 100% water recycling in production.
