MIIT announces 2024 5G factory list, 9 factories in the industry selected
On November 10, I learned from the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) that the Directory of 5G Factories in 2024 has been publicized recently.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) said in the announcement that, in order to deeply promote the innovative development of "5G+Industrial Internet", continue to implement the "one million" action of 5G factories, accelerate the construction of high-level 5G factories, and promote the construction of 5G factories around the world in accordance with the "Guidelines for the Construction of Fully-Connected 5G Factories" (MIIT Information Management 〔2022〕 No. 23), and achieve positive results.No. 23 of the Office of Industry and Information Management [2022]) to promote the construction of 5G factories, and positive results have been achieved.
After the recommendation of provincial industry and information technology departments, communication authority and the evaluation of industrial Internet strategy consulting expert committee, MIIT proposed to approve 400 5G factory projects to enter the "2024 5G factory directory", seven factories in paper and paper products industry were selected, and two seats were occupied by printing and recording media reproduction industry.
